First of all, it is evident that there is a significant employment gap in our country, which is rapidly advancing in terms of industry and technology. Especially in the metal industry, which is highly concentrated in Konya, companies are increasingly in search of workers each day. Sometimes, local solutions fall short, and many companies employ foreign personnel. This is where we step in to offer solutions to our clients.
Let us begin by saying that we are an employment agency officially supervised by the government, conducting all our operations in full compliance with regulations. Likewise, most of the agencies we cooperate with in other countries are also employment agencies monitored by their respective governments. This means the process begins with the employee obtaining all official permits in their home country, and by the time they arrive at your company and start working, everything is legal and authorized. You will have no doubts or uncertainties in your mind.
Here is a summary of the process:
We first receive a request from the company. Before anything else, we check whether the company’s internal structure complies with the legal regulations. If the company is eligible to employ foreign workers, we determine how many personnel can be hired. Once there is mutual agreement on these matters, we begin the search for suitable candidates.
To do this, we contact our overseas partners and share the CVs of suitable candidates with the company. We conduct the selection process together and finalize it. Then the official permit process begins.
Initially, there is a short document process involving the consulate in the employee’s home country. This is managed by our local partner there. This phase generally takes between 3 and 45 days, depending on the country, as each country has its own specific procedures.
Next, the process with the Turkish Ministry of Labor begins. On your behalf, we submit the necessary application for the work permits of the selected employees. We request the required documents from you and complete the application process thoroughly. Based on the information received from the consulate, the Ministry reviews the application, and if everything is in order, the permit is approved.
From this point forward, the employee is welcomed, and work begins!
A work permit is issued under your company for one year. This permit must be renewed annually. If the employee leaves the job without mutual agreement, all permits are canceled. The employee is aware of this and acts accordingly.
In terms of insurance and rights, you can treat foreign personnel just like your local employees. They, too, will have insurance and access to healthcare services. Essentially, their rights are the same as those of other employees.
In this article, we’ve briefly explained the process. If you have further questions or would like more details, please feel free to contact us.
